1.Will there be something to snack on if we are arriving at noon and dinner is served at 4:30?

Beginning at 12:00 you will have your choice of Lemonade, Soft Drinks and Water. At 12:00 there will be Hot Dogs, Veggie Dogs, Veggie Burgers, and Spicy Black Bean Burgers. These snacks will be available until 7:00.

2. How do I find out more information on the Golf Outing on Friday, October 27th? See the Golf tab.

3. Why does the price go up after July 14th, 2023?

To entice you to order early, so we will be able to make the event as affordable as possible for everyone. We have deposits and payments to make in advance and getting funds sooner helps keep costs lower.

4. You mention Vegetarian meal options.  What will that include?

Vegetarian Red Lasagna. Tossed Salad, 3 Vegetable Sides, Fresh Baked Rolls, Cranberry Sauce and Apple Sauce.In addition to dinner at 4:30 – 6:30, Veggie Dogs, Veggie Burgers and Spicy Black Bean Burgers will also be offered from 12:00 – 7:00.

5. If I am from out of town what transportation options are there for me, other than renting a car or phoning a friend?

To Hotel – From DCA take the Metro to the Rockville Station and take Uber to the Springhill Suites Gaithersburg. It’s a 4-mile ride.

To Hotel – From IAD take Uber to the Springhill Suites Gaithersburg.

To Hotel – From BWI take MTA Commuter Bus 201 to Shady Grove Metro,and take Uber from Shady Grove Metro to Springhill Suites Gaithersburg.

From Hotel to Smokey Glen Farm and back - There will be other Classmates staying at the Springhill Suites and you may be able to hitch a ride there and back. If not, it’s a 5-mile Uber ride and there may be other class members to ride-share.

6. Are there other events planned?
Yes, there is a Golf Outing planned on Friday at 12:00 and we are working on a get-together event near the hotel on Friday evening.

We will start the Reunion at 12:00 on Saturday with Live Music provided by our many talented NHS Class of 1973 Classmates, and hot dogs and burgers with non-alcoholic drinks, until the bar opens at 2:00.
